This time a wrong word has gotten a company in trouble. Not because it was misspelled or used incorrectly, but because it was used illegally. It never ceases to amaze me how casually people use words and don’t realize what they are saying. Unfortunately for this company, the mistake is going to cost them $30,000.
However, it seems they will only have to pay half of that if they avoid “other pronoun violations for a year.” Looks like the Grammar Police will be watching them. :-)
